about

“Your sounds are superficially so abstract but so warm and human like your warm breath. Anyway beautiful!” Robert Wyatt

"Think of Nuove Forme Sonore, Prima Materia, studies by authors such as Scelsi, Guaccero, Berio, Bussotti, Evangelisti and Macchi, the work of Alvin Curran "Songs and Views of the Magnetic Garden".
"Numen - Life of Elitra Lipozi" is composed of two pieces: Danse des Fantomes and A day long To, dedicated to the famous English neurologist and writer Oliver Sacks. The ideal celebration of a figure who has focused his long studies on the therapeutic use of music and the ability of the latter to stimulate a "brain vision" does not seem at all casual. The effect is alienating and magnetic. A fickle and polymorphic psychedelic nebula. Sometimes dreamlike, epileptic, twisted with obsessive repetitiveness in a convulsive and visionary gait. At times liquid, minimal, rarefied, of a lyricism made of fragility and delicacy. The whole is a reflection of the duality of our unconscious, of the swinging of moods, of the suspension that separates us from the abyss containing the answers to all the questions. The bottom is distant and unattainable and one can only be a spectator of a rain of very light petals that drag their candor to the point of being swallowed and scattered by the darkness. The silences, the rhythmic changes, the drama of the panting breath, the scattered echoes, the magic of the bawu flute that, like a synaesthetic breath, reveals to us the prodigy of a contemplative awakening. Everything weaves the textures of a representation in which the pathos and the sound are breath and membrane, a lost beat that covers itself with life and longing. In the lugubrious rumble of perdition there is the primal scream of the human who gives himself hope contemplating new dawns. In the chaos and in the becoming of all things the warm moan of the whispered rhythm calms us and reassures us and nothing is more musically perfect and true." Romina Baldoni, Distorsioni.net
